Flowerpot Matégot, large Ø27.5cm, black
Designed by French designer Mathieu Matégot in 1953, the flowerpot is a testament to the designer's breakthrough, turning a strong perforated sheet of metal into an airy and elegant fabric-like material that perfectly combines design, art and technology.
The flowerpot is a Rigitulle technique created by the author, which uses metal bent and folded by testing the various appearances the material is capable of. Thanks to innovative technology, Matégot was able to design something extraordinarily elegant and decorative from an ordinary fruit bowl, which adds a stylish accent to any interior.
The flowerpot is available in three different sizes and colors - combine the same or different to achieve a playful asymmetry or let the individual shine. The pots are versatile and can also be used for other purposes, such as as a fruit bowl or trash can.
The yellow-gold version is available in small and medium and black in all three sizes.
